How did the turtle cross the freeway safely? Through the EcoPassage!!

Those of us who love and respect turtles will be sad to hear that drying up of Lake Jackson in Florida causes turtles to cross a freeway and risk becoming roadkill to avoid starvation and thirst.  A volunteer project seeks to help turtles cross safely from one side of the freeway to the other.  The project is to build a freeway wall that diverts the migrating turtles to a drainage culvert that crosses under the road.
